Dr. Kala Mapes knew she wanted to be a dentist from a young age after she took out her first baby tooth. She loves that dentistry brings together science and art to create a beautiful smile. She attended Albion College where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Barry University for a Master of Science, and Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry for her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running marathons, paddleboarding, and trying new restaurants.
